William H. Wiersema, CPA
 Responsibilities
Bill Wiersema is an Audit Principal with Miller, Cooper. In addition to audit services, Mr. Wiersema provides specialized consulting services, including M&A due diligence and transaction support, and consulting in costs, reporting, budgeting, and operations for Manufacturing and Distribution companies. His consulting experience has global reach as he has assisted international entities with their locations in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Relevant Experience
Mr. Wiersema’s audit clients include middle market companies in manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. In the area of M&A Services, he has assisted individuals and business entities with acquisitions, sales and mergers. He has conducted specialized collateral audits for banks and other institutions. Mr. Wiersema has designed cost systems for companies in dozens of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, services, and printing. He has also prepared fee studies for local governments.
Mr. Wiersema has written several books, including The Miller Manufacturing, Distribution and Retail Guide for CCH, and dozens of articles on such topics as costing, inventory management, outsourcing, estimating, and efficient distribution. He has also conducted seminars and workshops on M&A, cost and management issues, including appearances before the Manufacturing Section of CPA Associates International.
Education and Professional Activities
Mr. Wiersema is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate in Economics from Northwestern University and before joining Miller Cooper, was a Graduate Fellow in Accounting at the University of Illinois. Mr. Wiersema is a member of the AICPA, the ICPAS, and the Association for Corporate Growth(ACG). He is also certified by the American Production & Inventory Control Society. Mr. Wiersema is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries and ACG.
