Michael Radin, CPA

Responsibilities
Mr. Radin is a Principal in Miller Cooper’s accounting and audit department, and has been a practicing CPA for 28 years. Mr. Radin has been involved in almost every facet of auditing, accounting, consulting, information services, taxation, and process management across diverse industries for individual and corporate businesses.

Relevant Experience
Mr. Radin uses a hands-on approach and creative problem-solving capabilities to provide financial accounting and consulting to closely-held, middle-market clients. He is experienced in forecasting and developing budgets for current businesses, determining job profitability, negotiating letters of intent, restructuring debt, developing exit strategies for stakeholder terminations, and working with banks to obtain financing. Mr. Radin has also worked on mergers and acquisitions in the wholesale/retail industry valuing more than $40 million.

His area of expertise expands into U.S. and international manufacturing for various service businesses, including major distributors, and contractors. Mr. Radin’s international experience includes working with Asian and German clients, specifically on foreign currency transactions and their application to both U.S. and foreign accounting methods and practices.

Education and Professional Activities
Mr. Radin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He is also a member of the subcontractors’ group, ASA Chicago.
