Dan Niforatos, CPA

Responsibilities
Dan Niforatos is an audit Principal at Miller Cooper. He brings more than nine years of public accounting experience to diverse business clients in the areas of accounting, auditing and business consulting.

Relevant Experience
Mr. Niforatos is responsible for the direction and review of audit services on numerous engagements. He meets with management to discuss business and financial statement issues that arise during the audit. He has served a diverse client base with a specialization in manufacturing, service and distribution industries. He has also been involved in several merger and acquisition transactions, employee benefit plan audits and litigation support activities.

Prior to joining Miller Cooper, Mr. Niforatos worked for the Emerging Strategic Clients group of a Big Four firm with an emphasis on middle market, privately- held companies.

Education and Professional Activities
Mr. Niforatos received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He is a member of Miller Cooper’s Manufacturing and Distribution, and M&A Industry Groups, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, and the Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries.
