Ignacio Mendez, CPA

Responsibilities
Ignacio Mendez is a Tax Principal for Miller Cooper & Co., Ltd. He draws upon 10 years of experience servicing exclusively the entrepreneurial middle market. His career has benefited from a unique blend of middle market-focused firms and one of the “Big 4.” This unique blend has provided the technical and service skills to serve many industries, including service organizations, retail, manufacturing, real estate, distribution, publishing, and financial services.

Relevant Experience
Mr. Mendez has developed a concentration in servicing venture capital and privately held businesses. Throughout his career, he has experienced the entire business cycle from due diligence and start up to exit strategies and mergers. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, state and local taxation, federal consulting and compliance, financial planning, and tax provision reviews.
Mr. Mendez is responsible for the direction and review of all tax matters on numerous engagements.

Mr. Mendez earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois - Chicago. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
