Fotene Liakatas, CPA

Responsibilities
Ms. Liakatas is a Principal and brings more than 14 years of public accounting experience in the areas of accounting, auditing and business consulting to middle-market businesses.

Relevant Experience
As an audit Principal, Ms. Liakatas is responsible for the direction of day-to-day audit services and meets with management to discuss business, as well as financial statement issues that arise during the engagement. She has served a diverse client base and specializes in many industries including technology, hospitality and real estate, service, manufacturing, distribution, publishing, consumer products, and construction management. Ms. Liakatas’ experience also includes review, compilation, tax strategies and value added service suggestions that promote financial and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Miller Cooper, Ms. Liakatas worked for the Emerging Strategic Clients group of Deloitte & Touche with an emphasis on middle market, privately-held companies.

Education and Professional Activities
Ms. Liakatas received her Bachelors in Business Administration degree in Accounting from Loyola University. She is a member of Miller Cooper’s Service Industry Group, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
