Brian A. Kayman, CPA

Responsibilities
Mr. Kayman is a Principal of Miller Cooper and brings more than 20 years of experience providing expert tax and business planning to Fortune 500 and diverse middle market companies. Prior to joining Miller Cooper, Brian practiced with a Big 4 accounting firm, and served as a controller for a closely-held business.

Relevant Experience
Mr. Kayman specializes in tax and business planning for closely-held businesses. His areas of interest include international taxation, state and local taxation, tax accounting method selection, tax credits and incentives, mergers and acquisitions, and IRS audits. His clients include leading health care, service industry, distribution and manufacturing businesses. Brian directs tax function outsourcing, including FAS 109 compliant tax provisions, and provides post Sarbanes-Oxley to clients whose audit firms include Ernst & Young, Deloitte and KPMG.

Education and Professional Activities
Mr. Kayman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and served as Finance Chair of the Chicago Architecture Foundation, and Treasurer of the Illinois Biotechnology Industry Organization.
