Kevin W. Hodges, CPA, MBA

Responsibilities
Kevin W. Hodges is a Principal in the firm. He leads the Estate Planning and Administration Group, and has more than 20 years of experience providing tax guidance, with an expertise in wealth transfer planning for high net worth individuals.

Relevant Experience
Kevin’s areas of concentration includes family wealth and business planning; federal estate, gift and generation-skipping tax planning; estate and trust administration. He counsels family groups, business owners, executives and individuals on all aspects of wealth transfer planning. He has developed extensive knowledge in charitable giving, and business succession planning for closely-held businesses. In addition, Kevin’s experience includes taxation and accounting issues regarding trusts and estates.

Education and Professional Activities
Prior to joining Miller Cooper, Kevin worked in the Private Client Departments of two of Chicago’s large, prominent law firms, McDermott Will & Emery LLP and Schiff Hardin LLP. Kevin received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology and Bachelor of Science of Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
