Principal

Peter F. Cieslak, CPA

Responsibilities
Mr. Cieslak is a Principal in the firm’s accounting and audit department, and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. In this capacity, he is responsible for coordinating and directing the activities of the audit team. His years of experience allow him to help clients optimize operations and develop strategies for long term growth. He has been a Principal with Miller Cooper for 13 years and has nearly 30 years of public accounting experience.

Relevant Experience
Mr. Cieslak services a variety of companies ranging from $10 million to $400 million in sales. His industry expertise includes automotive dealerships, distribution, manufacturing and retail. He is past chairman and a current member of the firm’s Manufacturing Industry Group. Before joining Miller Cooper in 1990, he was a partner with an international public accounting firm.

Education and Professional Activities
Mr. Cieslak received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society.

Mr. Cieslak is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, as well as a past member of the Illinois Manufacturers Association.

Additional activities include serving on the Board of the Counseling Center of Lakeview and membership on the Strategic Planning Committee for the Illinois CPA Society.
