Deborah M. Adasiak, AVA

Responsibilities
Deborah M. Adasiak is a senior manager for the Business Valuation Services group at Miller, Cooper & Co. For over 15 years, Ms. Adasiak’s practice has concentrated on valuations of closely help businesses and professional practices. She is actively involved in all aspects of the valuation process, from research and analysis, to the investigation of industry and economic trends impacting the business. Debbie also provides litigation support.
Relevant Experience
Ms. Adasiak’s valuation and consulting experience includes valuation of business enterprises, equities and intangible assets for gift and estate tax purposes, marital dissolution, and acquisitions and divestitures. She has reviewed and critiqued expert reports and consulted on the preparation of buy/sell agreements. Ms. Adasiak has determined stock values for buy/sell agreements and provided litigation support. Her experience spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, and professional services.
Education and Professional Activities
Ms. Adasiak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Illinois at Chicago Circle and has also received extensive training from various organizations in the field of Business Valuation. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society, American Society of Appraisers, The Business Valuation Association (BVA), The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), and The Professional Women’s Club of Chicago (PAWCC).
She has co-authored the following articles:
